Guest Speaker from the HCA Hospice

Did you guys know about the five language of love that can be expressed?

Well, the CCC found out through an engaging activity helmed by a representative from the HCA Hospice, a place for terminally ill patients to live out their remaining days
Through this talk, we were able to learn more about communicating with these people via the 5 love languages, namely:

1. Words of Affirmation
2. Quality Time
3. Receiving Gifts
4. Acts of Service
5. Physical Touch

We were introduced to the five languages by watching a video titled "Tuesdays with Morrie" where we watched different scenes meant to trigger our thoughts and emotions.

By relating to the various characters in the show who had to care for the elderly and terminally ill "Morrie", we learnt to relate to our friends residing at HCA Hospice.

"Morrie" reminded us to maintain a positive outlook on life, even in the face of battling a life-threatening disease.
We learned to remain positive and caring towards the patients at HCA just as how Morrie's caretakers and the people around him treated.

Geared with this new knowledge and passion, we are definitely ready for our upcoming event with the elderly to Vivocity!
