The Shooting Club performed their community service at Red Swastika Eldercare Centre (AMK Branch) on 10th June '09 from 10am to 1pm. A performance for 25 senior citizens which included song items, dance items and also a magic show, was put up in an attempt to entertain the elderly. They also carried out a hands-on bookmark making activity to engage the senior citizens.Value exercised: Respect
Overall reflection:
"During the activity, we exercised the value of respecting our elders by helping senior citizens even though they were strangers to us. We also learned about the challenges faced by senior citizens in our modern society, instilling in us a greater sense of respect and awareness for the elderly."

"It felt great to contribute my service in return of the learning I’ve obtained back to the community." - Chng Ci Zhen"I felt that although we did not spend much time there, we did manage to make their day and it was a good feeling." - Nadiah Bte Bohari
"After completing the activity, I felt a sense of achievement because it felt great to help the senior citizens. What the senior citizens shared with us was also priceless. Had I not been there, I would not have realised how some of them struggled to adapt to the society and that we should really live our lives to the fullest." - Shannon Teo Wei Liang
