CHESS CLUB'S EXPERIENCE!!
Description of the activity:
We helped the lower income families who reside at the school neighbourhood on Wednesday 21st August. We gave them S$ 5 vouchers in exchange for their old newspapers to help them cope with the current high cost of living in basic necessities.
" Our chess club missed our session of our Cca to do this CIP, we feel that we had exercised selflessness in giving up our own time to help others. We also helped them disposed some of their unwanted cardboards and rubbish even though we‘re not required to. We had treated them with respect during the collection." - Lee Wan Kiat

Some of the difficulties that we faced were, the distribution of work, number of participants and safety. Nevertheles, the group cooperated with one another to do something meaningful.
